Probably commoner than records suggest because of lack of field work on moorland during flight period.
41 light trapped in 3.5 hrs on one night at a moorland site in 2021.
Rosie said that it was not common and associated with moorland.
Recorded from four of the Rothamsted sites, mainly from Reay between 1989 and 1996.

First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 6th August to 12th October
