Local and scarce - all records are near coasts which indicates all are possible migrants rather than residents
Not recorded by Rosie, but four records from the Latheron Rothamsted site in 1981 and three from the Reay site in 1981 and 1994.
Scottish Status: Common W, absent or migrant E - stable. UK Status: Local
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 17th July to 20th September
