DOTTED BORDER Agriopis marginaria
Local in suitable habitat and under recorded because of flight time.
Rosie thought that it was commoner than records show. Records of one or two individuals irregularly from four Rothamsted sites between 1982 and 1998.
Scottish Status: Common - stable. UK Status: Common
UK distribution has declined moderately since 1970 & numbers dropped significantly  (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
