Possible recent colonist becoming widespread - range expanding in Scotland.
First record from the Halkirk Rothamsted site in 1985 and then none until one from ND35 in 2009. Now recorded annually often out numbering Gold Spot
Scottish Status: Common - dramatic increase and spread since 1980 UK Status: Local
UK distribution has shown major increase since1990 particularly in Scotland (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 30th June to 22nd August
