Rosie said that it was widely distributed but there were only five records from two Rothamsted sites.

UK distribution has increased but abundance substantially decreased since 1970 (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 19th May to 18th August
