Probably very
local and associated with alder. Rosie recorded it as common in two ornimental woodlands and it was recorded irregularly between 1980 and 2002 at four Rothamsted sites Only recent records from NC96 in 2014 & 2015, from ND27 in 2015 & 2020 and ND16 in 2018 Scottish Status: Widespread - stable. UK Status: Common UK distribution has increased significantly since 1970 (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths) First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: 19th May to 30th June MAP: black dots last record pre 2000 blue dots last record 2000 to 2009 red dots last record 2010 to 2019 green dots last record 2020 to present |
