Under recorded because of flight time and bias towards light trapping - comes readily to sugar in late Autumn & earliest Spring record is from sugar (65% of records are from sugar). Rosie found it not common in Region 4. Subsequently there is a record from the Reay Rothamsted site in 1992. Recorded annually in small numbers since 2009 Scottish Status: Common - stable.
