Widespread in small numbers.
Under recorded because of flight time and bias towards light trapping - comes readily to sugar in late Autumn & earliest Spring record is from sugar (65% of records are from sugar).
Rosie found it not common in Region 4. Subsequently there is a record from the Reay Rothamsted site in 1992.

First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness: Spring: 24th February to 7th April  Autumn: 9th October to 3rd December
