Scottish Status: Common but largely coastal - range expanding NW & inland   UK Status: Common
Large increase in distribution in Britain since 1970 (cf: Atlas of Britain & Ireland's Larger Moths)
First and last flight dates recorded in Caithness:21st June to 11th August
